During June 2010, at an intergovernmental and multi-stakeholder meeting in Busan in the Republic of Korea, a document was adopted which sets the path for establishing an IPBES. The “Busan Outcome” will go to the UN General Assembly later in 2010. Information documents that helped inform discussion during the third IPBES meeting in Busan included one commissioned by the Norwegian Government and prepared by UNEP-WCMC.
This concerned the potential relationships between and IPBES and existing institutions, and may be of interest to organizations involved with and interested in the Conservation Commons.
